For our project, we pinpointed three unique filming locations.
We were on the hunt for a spooky apartment hallway for our first shot. Since I know Bahria Town Phase 1 well and own a few apartments there, I suggested we check out the apartment complexes for our horror-themed shoot, specifically explored Bahria Heights 1.We were really impressed by the look and feel of the place. The design and atmosphere fit perfectly with the horror vibe we wanted to capture. Abeer, one of our key team members, was especially drawn to the setting, and we all agreed it would be the perfect backdrop for our shoot. This unanimous decision helped us lock in the location and move forward with our production plans.

For our second scene, we needed an apartment interior to film in. I had my own apartment where we shot the first scene, but unfortunately, it was occupied by tenants, so we couldn't use it. Abeer came up with a great idea—she suggested we film at her friend Maryam's place and even shared some pictures and videos with us. Lyla and I were both really impressed; it had the perfect vibe we were looking for, especially in the bathroom. Maryam's bathroom had those unique features that were just right for our horror story. The design and atmosphere fit perfectly with the eerie mood we wanted to create.
For our final scene, we wanted a location that felt different from where we had filmed before. I had a lightbulb moment and suggested we shoot at Lyla's place, which I quickly shared with the team. Thankfully, Lyla was all in and totally on board with the idea. To help us capture the vibe of her home, Lyla started painting a picture of its entrance. As she described it, I realized it reminded me of a relative's house nearby, hinting at a similar architectural style. This connection made it the perfect fit for our scene, matching exactly what we had in mind. This whole experience really highlighted how important it is to tap into our personal networks and stay open to each other's ideas during the location scouting process.
