To set our film budget, An online meeting was organized with the team to discuss what resources we needed and where we could find them. Thankfully, we realized that a lot of the items were already available at home, which really helped us save some money. Our budget mainly focused on three crucial purchases: acrylic paint for the shoes and the black box, shipping costs for the borrowed lamp, and a ski mask for Lilith's costume. After checking prices online, we created a detailed budget estimate for the project. Just so you know, this estimate doesn’t include the petrol costs for traveling to the shooting locations.  Here’s the budget breakdown:  - Acrylic Paint: Rs 400  - Ski Mask: Rs 520  - Delivery Charges: Rs 330  Total Budget: Rs 1250 By effectively using the resources we had on hand, we were able to keep our expenses low and focus on other vital elements of the film.

For our project, we pinpointed three unique filming locations.  We were on the hunt for a spooky apartment hallway for our first shot. The design and atmosphere fit perfectly with the horror vibe we wanted to capture. Abeer, one of our key team members, was especially drawn to the setting, and we all agreed it would be the perfect backdrop for our shoot. This unanimous decision helped us lock in the location and move forward with our production plans. For our second scene, we needed an apartment interior to film in. I had my own apartment where we shot the first scene, but unfortunately, it was occupied by tenants, so we couldn't use it. Abeer came up with a great idea—she suggested we film at her friend Maryam's place and even shared ...

Storyboard

Image
The storyboard lays out the purpose, style, and tone of the project. We broke the concept down into key scenes or moments and sketched each one, keeping the drawings nice and simple. We included descriptions of the action, camera angles, sounds, and any important details. It was essential to ensure the scenes flowed logically, allowing us to refer back to the storyboard for clarity. We opted for traditional paper to make sure our vision was communicated clearly.
